The Islip Cafe

You may already have heard that Debbie has chosen to step away from running the Islip Café after the end of January. She has done a marvellous job in building it up to a very valued community event and will be much missed. However, rest assured that she will continue to provide our monthly Community Lunches.

We are keen to see the weekly café continue and are pleased to say that Raffy Zero has agreed to run it in a simplified format. From Wednesday, 5 February the café will run weekly from 10.00am to 12.00pm, providing tea, coffee, cakes and the ever popular bacon rolls.

We welcome any suggestions about how the café runs, and are happy for people to be more involved. The café aims to provide tasty home-cakes and we are hoping to find a number of people who would be willing to do occasional baking. If you are a keen maker of cakes or similar treats, please let us know.

We do hope you will continue to support the café.
